FORM  base form, for example, I play, he does, we think
   
USE  We use the Simple Present to express the idea that an action is repeated, happens often, sometimes, usually, etc.
The action can be a habit, a hobby, or a daily routine. It can also be something a person often forgets or usually does not do. The tense also describes unchanging situations, emotions and wishes.
   
SIGNAL WORDS  always, normally, sometimes, usually, regularly, often, never, on Mondays, every day/week, at weekends

  1. On my way to school I always meet many friends.
  2. I hate peppermint.
  3. I normally get home at 1:30 p.m.
  4. Does he want an ice cream?
  5. She likes chocolate.
  6. School starts at twenty to eight.
  7. They often go fishing and catch nothing.
  8. He never finds his books.
  9. The postman does not bring the newspaper every day.
  10. We always get up at six thirty.
